Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 9, 1923
BUTLER - At his home, 617 East Liberty Street, suddenly Monday afternoon, October 
8, 1923, at 12:15 o'clock, STEPHEN CASEY BUTLER, son of the late D.C. and Mrs. 
Patsy Eley Butler, of Isle of Wight County, Virginia, aged 69 years, 6 months and 
4 days.
Funeral services will be conducted in the First Christian Church WEDNESDAY 
AFTERNOON at 2 o'clock.  Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.  
Friends invited.
