Aubrey Butt, aged 51, died yesterday morning at 3 o'clock at his residence, 705 Raleigh Avenue. The son of Mrs. Laura A. and the late Anthony S. Butt, he was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and was prominent in business and social affairs of the city. He was retired president and general manager of George W. Taylor & Co. coal and ice dealers. Besides his mother, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. William E. Doherty; a brother, Hugh V. Butt and two nephews, William E. Doherty, Jr. and J. Anthony Butt. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. *************************************************************************** J. Aubrey Butt — Funeral services for Mr. Butt were conducted yesterday morning at 10 o’clock at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church by the Rev. T.E. Waters. The Rev. M. Hartigan and the Rev. R.E. Hannan were present. Master Frank Lathrop sang “Face to Face” during the service and several selections were given by the choir of the Sacred Heart School. The pallbearers were F.A. Evans, S.M. Subers, R.C. Taylor Jr., A.G. Bailey, J.J. Collins, Alfred Smith, F.S. Sager and W.L. Petty.
