Norfolk Virginian May 17, 1892
Mrs. Bettie Butt, wife of Mr. Jno. Butt, died at their home on Brambleton avenue 
Sunday morning at 3 o’clock. She leaves three children. The funeral took place at 
4 o’clock yesterday afternoon from the residence, and was conducted by Rev. W. L. 
Gravatt, of St. Peter’s P. E. Church.
