Norfolk Landmark June 26, 1891
The many friends and admirers of Mrs. Elizabeth F. Butt, wife of Mr. W. S. Butt, 
were deeply pained yesterday to learn of her death, which occurred at the 
residence of her husband, No. 95 Boush street, at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. She 
was sixty-three years of age at the time of her death. Outside of the immediate 
circle of her family, there will be many who will have cause to regret her death, 
as to them she had endeared herself by many beautiful traits of character. Her 
funeral will take place this afternoon at 5:30 o’clock from the residence.
