Virginian-Pilot November 20, 1947
Mrs. Hattye Butt — Funeral services for Mrs. Butt, who died yesterday in Richmond, 
will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home, 300 East 
Marshall Street, Richmond. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk.
Mrs. Butt was a native of Norfolk, widow of Samuel Pago Butt. She is survived by 
one son, S. Page Butt, of Pleasantville, N.Y., a sister, Mrs. W. B. Beachamp, of 
Richmond, and a grandson, S. Page Butt, Jr.
