Virginian-Pilot February 18, 1964
BUTT, HERMAN LINWOOD, JR. – At a Norfolk hospital, Monday morning, February 17, 
1964, at 6:30 o’clock, HERMAN LINWOOD BUTT, JR., husband of Mrs. Kathleen Crawley 
Butt and the late Herman L. Butt, in the 47th year of his age. The body will be 
taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Trinity Catholic Church for a funeral 
service WEDNESDAY MORNING, February 19, 1964, at 11 o’clock. Friends are invited. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. A Rosary service will be recited February 18, 
1964, at 7:30 o’clock. The family will be at the mother’s residence, 948 West 
Ocean View Ave.
