Norfolk Virginian April 1, 1888
BUTT – At 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, March 31st, 1888, at the residence of her 
son-in-law, John W. Gregory, 128 James street, Mrs. MARY ANN BUTT, relict of the 
late William B. Butt, of London Bridge, Princess Anne county, Va. She was 73 years 
and 1 month old.
Funeral at Mr. Gregory’s residence, MONDAY AFTERNOON at 4 o’clock. Friends and 
acquaintances invited to attend.
