Norfolk Landmark May 15, 1894
The funeral of Mrs. Sarah M. Butt, who died Saturday night, took place from the 
Cumberland street M. E. Church at 11 o’clock yesterday morning, and was conducted 
by the Rev. Dr. A. C. Bledsoe. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. The 
following were the pallbearers: Messrs. J. W. Beasley, G. W. Camp, W. J. Land, W. 
E. Brown, W. H. Fletcher and B. F. Sayer.
