Virginian Pilot September 11, 1951

Mrs. Laura Virginia Butt, 87, died yesterday at 10 a.m. in a Norfolk hospital. 
She resided at 9518 Morwin Avenue.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Patience Morgan Ramsay, Mrs. Nellie 
Morgan Pace and Mrs. George McLin Gornto, all of Norfolk; a son, Robert R. 
Butt, of Atlanta; a sister Mrs. Mattie Brown, of Woodruff, S. C.; a brother 
Robert H. Gregory, of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and a member of the First Baptist 
Church. 
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
