CHICAGO - Mrs. Angela Baecher Butt, the wife of J. Willoughby Butt and a former 
teacher in the Norfolk school system, died Tuesday.

She was a native of Norfolk.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs Mary Angela Johnson of Columbia, Mo., two 
sons, John B. Butt of Wilmette, Ill., and J. Willoughby Butt Jr. of Taylorsville, 
N.C.; and two brothers, John Joseph Baecher of Norfolk and John Ford Baecher of 
Washington.

The body was sent to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, where a Christian 
Wake service will be held tonight at 7. A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be 
celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church, Norfolk. Burial 
will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk.
