D. Anthony, No. 822 Reservoir avenue, February 16, 1919, at 12:25 o'clock a.m., CATHERINE JENNETTE, widow of Benjamin Harrison Butts, in the 63d year of her age. Funeral services at the above residence MONDAY AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment private. ******************************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Catherine Jennette Butts, widow of Benjamin Harrison Butts, took place this afternoon at the residence of her son-in-law, M.D. Anthony, 822 Reservoir Avenue, and was conducted by Rev. George Dunn, of St. Mary's Catholic Church, being largely attended. There were many floral offerings. The burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, the pallbearers being H. Burch, R. Traylor, C.H. Oliver, M.D. Anthony, A.C. Weaver, W.E. Torbert. Mrs. Butts died Saturday night, at the above residence, after an illness of three years. She was a native of Norfolk and was in her 63rd year. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. A.C. Weaver and Mrs. M.D. Anthony, both of Norfolk and Mrs. W.E. Torbert, of Portsmouth and two sons, Benjamin H. Butts of Norfolk and W.H. Butts, of Onancock, Va.
