Mrs. Sarah Ella Butts of 222 Filbert street, who died June 23 in a local
hospital, will receive final rites Sunday, July 2 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist
Church in Bolling Park, where she sang in the choir.

The Rev. Samuel B. Lewis will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery
under direction of Graves Funeral Home.

Mrs. Butts was a native of Goldsboro, NC.  She lived in Norfolk 50 years and
worked 35 years as a domestic.  She held membership in St. Andrew Lodge.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Creecy and Mrs Virginia Robinson
of Norristown PA, and Mrs. Mary Washington of Norfolk;  and two sisters, Mrs.
Martha Butts and Mrs. Nessie Washington of Norfolk.
