NORFOLK - Mrs. Bessie B. Bynum of 1235 Godfrey Ave., the widow of Benjamin Bynum 
and a native of Virginia Beach, died Monday in her home.

Survivors include four daughters, Misses Patrice Bynum, Vickie Bynum, Deresse 
Bynum, and Patricia Bynum of Norfolk; four sons, James Bynum and Mack Bynum of 
Riverhead, N.Y., and Keith Bynum and Gayesdeshone Bynum of Norfolk; two sisters, 
Mrs. Viola Penny of Virginia Beach and Ms. Wisteria Wyche of Norfolk; a brother, 
Paul Wyche of New York; and a grandchild.

A funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Elton Funeral Home Chapel by the 
Rev. David Sanford. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
