Norfolk - Mrs. Lula Bynum of 893 Washington avenue, died in a hospital.  A
native of Boykins, she was a daughter of Percy and Mrs. Mary Bynum.

She was a member of United Holiness Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Loraine Williams and Mrs. Myropia
Robinson of Norfolk;  five brothers, Joseph Bynum of Norfolk, David L.Bynum and
James Bynum of Cambridge, NJ, Percy Bynum Jr., of Petersburg;  and Junius
Winborne of Richmond;  two sisters, Mrs. Louise Mitchell of Norfolk and Mrs.
Fannie Mae Colbert of Cambridge;  13 grandchildren;  and three
great-grandchildren.  Graves Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
