Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct. 23, 1965
Norfolk - Junnie Bynum Jr. of 838 Fremont street was given final rites Wednesday 
in Hale Funeral Chapel by the Rev. J. L. Kearney.  Interment was in Calvary 
Cemetery.

A native of Norfolk, Mr. Bynum, a son of Junnie Bynum and Mrs. Frances Bynum, 
died Oct. 15 in a hospital.  He was a member of the International Longshoremen’s 
Association, Local 1248, for 10 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Miss Sharon Bynum of San Francisco;  and a sister, 
Mrs. Henrietta Beamon of Philadelphia.
