RICHMOND - Catherine M. "Katie" Byrne, 101, died Feb. 17, 1993.

Miss Byrne was reared in the Norfolk area and was retired from the Seaboard 
Railway.

She is survived by her brother, Monsignor Francis J. Byrne of Richmond, and a 
number of nieces and nephews.

Her remains rest at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged where a Christian wake will be 
held at 7 p.m. tonight and where a Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 
a.m. Saturday. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk.

Memorial contributions to St. Joseph's Home for the Aged, 1503 Michael Road, 
Richmond, Va. 23229, are preferred.
