Virginian Pilot Sunday June 28, 1908
Miss Josephine Byrum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Josephus Byrum died yesterday 
afternoon at the family residence in South Norfolk after a brief illness.
The deceased was well known and highly respected and leaves a host of friends to 
mourn her loss.  She had been a resident of this section many years and was 30 
years of age.
The funeral will be conducted from the residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock and 
the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  Rev. Q.C. Davis, pastor of the South 
Norfolk Baptist Church, will officiate.
