Cabler, aged 59, died Monday night at 11 o'clock at the residence, 728 Atwood Avenue, Ocean View. Mr. Cabler was a native of Kansas City, Mo., son of the late Charles T. and Jeanie Black Cabler, and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian A. Cabler; a daughter, Mrs. Yeve Smith, of Gratton, Conn.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Bennett, of Roanoke and Miss Jean D. Cabler, of Washington, D.C. and a brother, J.M.B. Cabler, of Houston, Texas. Services will be conducted at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. Charles Browning, Jr., pastor of Ocean view Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
