Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 24, 1937

John Twohy Cacace, aged 30, husband of Mrs. Madolyn White Cacace and son of Mrs. 
Mary Esposito Cacace and the late Vincent Cacace, died at 9 o'clock yesterday 
morning at the residence, 2-B Spotswood Gardens Apartments, 901 Spotswood 
Avenue. He was a native of Portsmouth and a lifelong resident of this section. 
Besides his wife and mother he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. C.L. Clark, 
Mrs. N.S. Clibourne and Miss Carmella Cacace; three brothers, J.M., M.J. and 
C.M. Cacace and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the residence of his mother, 302 West Twenty-
ninth Street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Leo J. Ryan, pastor 
of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, officiating.

John Twohy Cacace — Funeral services for Mr. Cacace, whose death occurred 
Tuesday, were held at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon at the residence of his 
mother, Mrs. Mary E. Cacace, 302 West Twenty-ninth street, with the Rev. Leo J. 
Ryan, pastor of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, officiating. There was a 
large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a double 
cluster of pink and white carnations and ferns.
Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery and pa11bearers were Clarence L. Clark, 
Jr., Elbert B. Cox, Robert Turner, William Lasting, Leonard Ronick, Charlie 
Turrissi, Cato Bennett and Winston Lawler.
