Virginian Pilot November 16, 1961

Joseph Michael Cacace, 72, husband of Mrs. Josephine Demma Cacace and son of 
Vincent and Mrs. Mary D'Esposito Caccace, died Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in a 
Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Cacace, a veteran of Stevedoring business, was a native of Philadelphia. He 
had lived in Norfolk since childhood, lately at 3708 Colonial Ave.
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and Roma Lodge, Sons of 
Italy.
Besides his widow, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Jo Underwood; two 
brothers, Charles M. Cacace and Michael Cacace; three sisters, Mrs. C.L. Clark, 
Mrs. Ben McKenzie and Miss Carmella Cacace; and a granddaughter, all of Norfolk. 
The Rosary will be recited in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Friday at 7:30 p.m. 
A funeral service will be held in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Saturday at 
11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. 
The family will be at 3807 Colonial Ave.

 CACACE, JOSEPH MICHAEL - At a local hospital, Wednesday, November 15th, 1961, 
at 12:30 p.m., JOSEPH MICHAEL CACACE, husband of Mrs. Josephine Demma Cacace, 
and son of the late Vincent and Mary D'Esposito Cacace, died in the 73rd year of 
his age.  
Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church for services SATURDAY MORNING at 11 o'clock.  Friends 
of the family are invited to attend.  Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.
