Dr. R. Lloyd Williams, city coroner and Detective Nowitzky, who investigated the case and viewed the body were of the opinion that death was due to apoplexy. Mr. Cacace apparently had been in good health up until the time of his death which is believed to have occurred about 6 o'clock. Mr. Cacace was a native of Italy, but had been a resident of Norfolk for 40 years. He was widely known in shipping circles and was a member of the Norfolk lodges of Elks and Eagles and of the Italian Benevolent Society. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mary Antoinette Cacace, he is survived by five sons, Joseph M., Michael J., Vincent Jr., Charles M. and John T. Cacace,; three daughters, Mrs. C.L. Clark, Mrs. N.S. Clibourne and Miss Carmella Cacace; six grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Scelzi and Mrs. Theresa Mosca, all of Norfolk and one brother, Michael Cacace, of Baltimore. Pending funeral arrangements the body was taken to the funeral home of H.D. Oliver, 610-612 East Freemason Street. ******************************************************************************* Vincent Cacace - The body of Mr. Cacace, whose death occurred suddenly Saturday evening, will be taken from the residence, 4 1/2 Stop, Willoughby Beach, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church (Ocean View) for funeral services Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock.
