Virginian Pilot Newspaper Wednesday, July 3, 1946
Mrs. Gertrude Ferguson Cade, wife of George E. Cade, died Sunday, June 30, 1946 
in Miami, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted at the Ewell & Williamson 
Funeral Home Thursday, July 4, 1946 at 2:30pm by the Rev Henry W. Tiffany, 
D.D., pastor of the Park Place Baptist Church. Interment will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late John R. and Nancy Whitlock Allen. 
She was in the 75th year of her age.
