Cleophia Estelle Caffee, 89, of the 900 block of Lusk St., died Feb. 22, 1998.

She was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Herbert M. Caffee Sr. She was 
Catholic.

Survivors include two sons, Herbert M. Caffee Jr., and wife, Earlene, of 
Chesapeake, and Michael Caffee, of Norfolk; two sisters, Elizabeth Crowling and 
Catherine Messina, both of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Ann Marie Boyce, Herbert 
M. Caffee, III, and John Edward Caffee, all of Chesapeake; two great-
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's 
Cemetery by Father Timothy Drake. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral 
Home, Indian River Chapel, from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday to receive friends. Memorial 
donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
