Caffee The obsequies of this well-known and esteemed lady, whose sudden death occurred at her home, No. 53 Clay Street, Saturday were held from Queen Street M.E. Church at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Rev S.C. Hatcher, pastor, officiated, assisted by Revs. J.B. Merritt, of the Seamen’s Bethel and Rev Daniel T. Merritt of the Monumental M.E. Church, and Rev. Dr. J.P. Barrett, of the Christian Memorial Temple. Following were the pall-bearers: Messrs. C.E. Pettis, J.M. Graham, R.R. Pitt, George M. Maynard, J.W. Cherry, J.M. Broughton, Benjamin Reynolds and George E. Watson. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
