Caffee, aged 60, died at a local hospital last night at 8:15 o’clock aft after a long illness. He was the son of the late William T. and Mrs. Mary J. Caf Caffee, a native of Princess Anne County and a resident of Norfolk practically all all of his life. Mr. Caffee was a member of the fire department for a number of years until ill-he health forced his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emily B. Caffee; two da daughters, Mrs. L.L. Rue of Raleigh, N.C., and Mrs. T.C. Meekins, of Hilton Vi Village; one son Victor W. Caffee, Jr.; three sisters, Mrs. Henry W. McDermott, Mr Mrs. W.R. Parker and Mrs. Helen Davis, all of Norfolk, and two brothers, Ro Roswell S., and Capt. James T. Caffee, all of Norfolk, and five grandchildren. The body will be taken from the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West P Princess Anne Road, to the residence of his sister, Mrs. McDermott, 1065 West F Fifty-Sixth Street, where funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon a at 3 o’clock. The Rev. Allen J. Carter will officiate. Burial will be in E Elmwood Cemetery.
