Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Cahill, son of the late Martin and Mrs. Anne Mealey Cahill, and husband of the late Mrs. Mary Mitchell Cahill, died yesterday afternoon at 3:55 o'clock at the residence, A-3 Baldwin Manor Apartments, 931 Baldwin Avenue. Born in Cheadle, Staffordshire county, in England, May 15, 1862, Mr. Cahill came to the United States as a very young man. He has lived in Norfolk for the past 40 years and was an active member of Sacred Heart Church. He was also a charter member of Norfolk Council, No.367, Knights of Columbus. Surviving him are two sons, Major Edward H. Cahill, U. S. Army, and John Cahill, Jr., of Norfolk; four daughters, Misses Katherine and Mary Cahill, Mrs. Hugh C. Preston, Jr., and Mrs. Harold J. Wight (sic), all of Norfolk; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and three brothers, Edward, Martin and Thomas J. Cahill, all of New York City. Rosary services will be held tonight at 8 o'clock at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
