NORFOLK — Mrs. Loretta Burke Cahill, the widow of Martin O. Cahill, and a lifelong 
resident of Norfolk, died Thursday in her home.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Burke Wells of Virginia Beach, Mrs. 
Dorothy Burke Subers and Mrs. Miriam Burke Dean of Norfolk; a son, Martin O. 
Cahill of Virginia Beach; and five grandchildren.

The Office of the Dead will be said this evening at 6 in H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
