Cahill, for eight years the leader of the orchestra at the Strand Theater, died at 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon at the residence, 404 Chapel street. Mr. Cahill was 46 years old and was a native of Brooklyn. Ha had resided in Norfolk twenty-six years. He was a member of the Musicians' Protective Association. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Hattie Banker Cahill of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. M. Mahnken and Mrs. Grace Hurley, of Brooklyn, and a brother, Frank Cahill, of Brooklyn. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
