NEWPORT NEWS — Ada Thompson Cahoon, 93, of 955 Harpersville Road, a native of 
White Stone, Va., and the widow of Iradell Cahoon, died Wednesday in a nursing 
home.
A former resident of Norfolk, Mrs. Cahoon was a member of Freemason Street 
Baptist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Elmwood Cemetery in 
Norfolk by Drs. Donald Dunlap and R. Furman Kenney. Memorial donations may be 
made to the Virginia Baptist Home, P.O. Box 6010, Newport News, 23606. Peninsula 
Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
