NORFOLK - Horace J. Cahoon, 56, of 4810 Mayflower Drive, husband of Mrs. Mary J. 
Cahoon and son of Columbus Jasper and Mrs. Lillian Norman Cahoon, died in a 
hospital Friday at 4:10 p.m.

A native of Columbia, N.C., he lived in Norfolk 30 years.

He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic and Elks. He was a retired Norfolk
Packing Co. accountant.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, James Franklin Cahoon of Norfolk; a 
sister, Mrs. Vida Oden of New York; and a brother, Dalton Cahoon of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Monday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
