Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, June 29, 2000 
NORFOLK - David L. Cain, 87, of the 1000 block of Wolcott Ave., died June 24, 2000.

Born in Rich Square, N.C., he was a retired electrician from Harrison Wright
Construction after 20 years and was also a retired mechanic from Norfolk Naval
Air Station after 18 years. Mr. Cain was a faithful member of Mount Olive
Baptist Church in Norfolk.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian W. Cain. Survivors include a daughter,
Marilyn D. Cain Hernandez of Norfolk; a sister, Lillie Mae Parker of Newark,
N.J.; a grandson, Antonio David Cain of Norfolk; son-in-law, Angel M. Hernandez;
sister-in-law, Dr. Mildred C. Watts of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives
and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at Metropolitan Funeral Service,
Granby Street Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and friends
will assemble at 1033 Wolcott Ave. one hour prior to service for the procession.
