Norfolk Virginian February 23, 1897
CAKE – At the residence of her father, E. H. Reams, 204 Willoughby avenue, 
Brambleton Ward, Sunday, February 21st, 1897, at 10:30 p.m., CARRIE ELIZABETH, 
beloved wife of Charles W. Cake, in the 24th year of her age.
The funeral will take place from Park Avenue Baptist Church THIS (Tuesday) 
AFTERNOON at 3 o’clock. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend.
