The Virginian-Pilot, Wednesday, June 19, 1985

NORFOLK - Rubell Caldwell of 1224 Mapole Ave., a native of Elizabeth City and the
wife of Willie Caldwell Sr., died Sunday in a hospital.

She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Other survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Caldwell and Geraldine McCant, and
two sons, Willie Caldwell Jr. and Phillip Caldwell, all of Norfolk; four sisters,
Betty Gilliam and Agnes Artis, both of Norfolk, and Josephine Johnson and Alberta
Atkins, both of Fallberg, N.Y.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses,
969 Ingleside Road. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with Hale Funeral Home in
charge. The family will be at her home.
