DOROTHY W. CALEO
NORFOLK - Dorothy W. Caleo, 82, died Sept. 16, 2006, in Norfolk.  Mrs. Caleo was 
born in Norfolk and was the daughter of the late Maggie Milam Williams and Lewis 
H. Williams and the widow of Leon J. Caleo, Sr.

Mrs. Caleo was a graduate of Maury High School, Class of 1941.  During World War 
II, she worked at the Naval Supply Center at the Norfolk Naval Base.  For many 
years, she was a devoted mother, caring friend and a dedicated homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann Khalil, and her husband, Youssef, of Virginia 
Beach; two sons, Leon J. Caleo, Jr., of Michigan, and John Lewis Caleo, and his 
wife, Cheri, of Chesapeake; and five grandchildren, Julie Caleo, Lindsey Caleo, 
Jamie Edwards, Marco Khalil and Ryan Caleo.  Mrs. Caleo is also survived by two 
brothers, Herman Williams and Clifton Williams, both of Norfolk.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk Chapel, by Father Joseph Metzger.  Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery 
in Norfolk.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 
until 8 p.m.  Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research 
Hospital.
