NORFOLK — Leon Joseph Caleo, 58, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died Friday in a 
hospital.

Caleo had retired from Ford Motor Co. as a controller in the tractor division. He 
was a veteran of World War II.

Caleo was a member of the Elks Lodge and was a past treasurer of the Senior 
Citizens Ocean View Golf Association.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Williams Caleo; a daughter, Dorothy Ann Caleo 
of Norfolk; two sons, John Lewis Caleo of Norfolk and Leon Joseph Caleo Jr. of 
Mount Clemens, Mich.; and two grandchildren.

The service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Mary’s Cemetery by Chaplain 
Edward L. Richardson.

A rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk. Memorial donations may be sent to the Hospice Program at Norfolk General 
Hospital.
