Landmark August 12 1890

The funeral of Mrs. Sarah C., wife of Captain James Caler, took place at 5 
o’clock Sunday afternoon from the residence of her husband, No. 45 Walke 
Street, as announced in Sunday’s issue, and was largely attended. The services 
were conducted by Rev. W.G. Starr, D.D., pastor of Cumberland Street M.E. 
Church, and the interment took place in Elmwood Cemetery. The following 
gentlemen were the pall-bearers: Messrs. W.R. Fentress, S.N. Brickhouse, H.R. 
Berryman, G.W. Camp, F.M. Smith, W.W. Vicar, E.J. Whitehurst and L.W. Davis.
