Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, January 28, 1992 
Charles Edward Calhoun, of the 400 block of Walke St., a retired chauffeur, died
Jan. 26, 1992, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Mr. Calhoun was born in Norfolk and had retired from Goodman Electric Co. after
45 years. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and Eureka Lodge. He was the
widower of Alma H. Calhoun.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn D. Crews of Chesapeake; three sons,
Charles E. Calhoun Jr. of Virginia Beach, Benjamin Calhoun of New Jersey and
Edward Darden of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday at Riddick Funeral Service by
the Rev. John H. Foster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be
held from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Friends may join the family
from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will assemble at 11:15
a.m. Wednesday at 232 Fernwood Farm Road for the procession to the service.
