A native of Wake Forest, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Cain and Mrs. Henrietta Harris and the widow of Phillip Calhoun. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a 40-year member of its Missionary Society and Deaconess Board. Surviving are two sons, Charlie E. Calhoun and Clarence W. Calhoun of Norfolk; two daughters, Mrs. Alethia Drew Booker of Norfolk and Mrs. Fannie Stone of Hempstead, Long Island, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. Anna Harris of New York; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Shiloh Baptist Church by the Rev. J.H. Foster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral service in charge.
