MARGARET C. CALLAHAN
NORFOLK - Margaret Christine Callahan, 90, died July 8, 2006, at Autumn Care 
Nursing Home.

A native of Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Denis D. and 
Catherine E. Fitzgerald Callahan.  She was a retired bookkeeper with Ames and 
Brownley Department Store and had been a member of Christ the King Catholic Church 
for more than 70 years.

Survivors include her sister, Mary T. Callahan, of Norfolk, as well as several 
cousins.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Denis J. and Joseph G. 
Callahan.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Thomas M. Powers officiating.  Burial will 
follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.  A Christian wake will be held in the 
Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 4 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to the Christ the King Catholic Church Building 
Fund.
