NORFOLK — Mrs. Catherine Fitzgerald Callahan, 84, of 1451 Ashland Circle, the 
widow of Denis Daniel Callahan, died Saturday night in a hospital.

A native of Sturbridge, Mass, she was a daughter of David and Mrs. Anne J. 
MacDonald Fitzgerald. She lived here 29 years. She was a member of Christ the King 
Catholic Church.

Survivors are a son, Denis J. Callahan, and two daughters, Misses Margaret C. 
Callahan and Mary T. Callahan, all of Norfolk; and a brother, David J. Fitzgerald, 
of Springfield, Mass.

The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, to Christ 
the King Catholic Church for funeral services Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in 
St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The Office of the Dead will be recited tonight at 7:30 in the funeral home. The 
family requests that flowers be omitted.
