MR. DAN CALLAHAN

The obsequies of Day Watchman Dan Callahan, of St. Vincent's hospital, who died at 
that institution Saturday night, in the 57th year of his age, were held from the 
funeral apartments of Mr. H. D. Oliver, Freemason street, at 3 o'clock yesterday 
afternoon.  Rev. Father Edward Walsh, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Catholic 
church, officiating.  A delegation of Newport News Lodge of Hibernians, of which 
the deceased was a member, attended the funeral.  The interment was in St. Mary's 
cemetery.
