MISS CECELIA CALLAN, daughter of the late Thomas L. and Mrs. Catherine Hoban 
Callan, a native of Baltimore, and a resident of Norfolk for a number of years, 
died at 1 o'clock yesterday morning at a local hospital. Miss Callan was for many 
years secretary for Burke and Gregory, Inc., and was widely known. She was a 
member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Surviving her are one sister, Mrs. John E. 
Burke, of Norfolk; a brother, Martin William Callan, of New York, and several 
nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately at the residence, 418 Pembroke avenue, 
today. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
