CALLENDER, ESTELLE V. HUDGINS – At a local hospital, Sunday, November 23, 1952, at 
9:15 o’clock a.m., ESTELLE V. HUDGINS CALLENDER, widow of Chaplain William E. 
Callender, U.S.H.S., and daughter of the late Capt. William E. Hudgins and Louise 
Victoria Stone Hudgins. Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Selden Chapel, Christ and St. Luke’s 
Episcopal Church for services TUESDAY at 12 o’clock noon. Friends of the family 
are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
