CALLENDER, CHAPLAIN WILLIAM EDWARD – At a local hospital, Wednesday morning, 
January 26, 1944, at 7 o’clock, CHAPLAIN WILLIAM EDWARD CALLENDER, husband of 
Estelle Hudgins Callender, in the 78th year of his age. The body will be taken 
from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for funeral 
services FRIDAY, January 28, 1944, at 12 o’clock NOON. Friends of the family 
invited to attend. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
