The Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 11, 1954
Henry Bourne Calwell, husband of Mrs. Lillian Cottingham Calwell and son of the 
late William and Mrs. Josephine Llewellyn Calwell, died at a Norfolk hospital 
yesterday at 8:45 a.m.
He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 732 Washington Park at the 
time of his death.  He is survived only by his wife.
Services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 11 a.m. 
by the Rev. Edward H. Jones, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, of 
which Mr. Calwell was a member, and the Rev. Jason L. MacMillan, D.D., pastor 
emeritus.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
