RALEIGH — David Byron Campbell, 43, of 4312 Galax Drive, died Monday, April 27 
at Duke Medical Center.
He is survived by one son, William Chapin Campbell, and one stepson, John 
Matthew Koomen, both of Chapel Hill; parents, William and Dorothy Campbell; 
sister, Patricia Campbell Rodgers of Virginia Beach, Va.; grandmother, Dorothy 
Wilson Whitehead of Virginia Beach, Va.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 30 at 3 p.m., St. Michael’s 
Episcopal Church.
The family will receive friends at the home following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Liver Foundation, 
998 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, N.J. 07009.
