Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, March 28, 1991
John Robert Campbell, 68, of the 2400 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., a
retired Army veteran, died March 26, 1991, in a Hampton hospital.

Mr. Campbell, a native of Plainfield, N.J., served in World War II and the
Korean War. He was a former civil service employee at the Norfolk Naval Base.

Survivors include a brother, the Rev. G.G. Campbell Sr. of Richmond.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in New Calvary Baptist Church. Burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be placed in the church at 10:30
a.m. Saturday. Family and friends will assemble at 12:15 p.m. at Hale Funeral
Home for the procession.

Memorial donations may be made to the capital improvement fund of New Calvary
Baptist Church.
