Funeral services for Mrs. Lulu Marie Campbell were held June 26 at First Calvary
Baptist Church.  The Rev. S. A. Wilson, pastor of New Calvary officiated.

Mrs. Campbell, the widow of the late Rev. D. Y. Campbell, died June 23 at her
residence, 6303 Pierce Street.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Estelle C. Jones, a teacher in the Norfolk
school system;  three sons, SFC Donald Y. Campbell, stationed at Ft.
Leonardwood, MO;  Rev. Gilbert G. Campbell, pastor of Oak Grove Church,
Churchland and John R. Campbell, civil service worker;  a brother, James Conover
of Pittsburgh PA;  and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Campbell was a native of Roselle, NJ, but had lived in Norfolk for the past
23 years.
