Candalese, 70, of 1541 Curtin St., a former 50 year resident of Norfolk, died Saturday in a hospital. A native of New Bern, N.C., he lived here 11 years. He was the husband of Mrs. Anna Florence Disario Candalese and a son of Giovanni and Mrs. Marie Candalese. He formerly owned and operated the River Terrace Restaurant in Norfolk. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Besides his widow, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ann Marie Olivo of Cherry Hill, N.J.; and three grandchildren. The body was sent to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments in Norfolk. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated today at 11 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Newport Avenue and Painter Street. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk. ***************** CANDALESE, JOSEPH V. - In a Philadelphia hospital, Saturday, JOSEPH V.
