Mrs. Cannon was a well-known resident of Norfolk for the past 70 years and was a consistent member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving her are five daughters, Mrs. W.D. Coates and Misses Grace W., Kate L., Bertha E., and Lena M. Cannon; one son, Gordon A. Cannon, all of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Miss Jean Cannon, of New York and Miss Doris Coates, of Norfolk and one sister, Mrs. Annie Kelly of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, with the Rev. T. Ryland Sanford, D.D., pastor of the First Baptist Church and the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
